Introduction
Thank you for your interest in our company. We take the protection of your privacy and your private data very seriously. We collect, process and use your personal data in accordance with the European Data Protection Basic Regulation (EU-DSGVO), the national data protection regulations applicable to our company and the content of this data protection declaration. With this data protection declaration we would like to inform you in detail how we treat your personal data and what rights you have as a data subject.
Personal data
Personal data is individual information about your personal or factual circumstances. This includes all information about your identity (e.g. name, email address or postal address). Information that cannot be associated with your identity (e.g. number of users of the online offer) does not count as personal information. In principle, you can use our online offer without disclosing your identity and without providing personal data. For some of the services offered, however, personal data is collected from you. We collect, store and use this data only for the purpose of using this online service, in particular to provide the requested information.
Storage and processing of personal information
Your details are stored by us on specially protected servers. These are protected by technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. Access to your data is only possible for a few authorised persons. They are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the servers. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all risks is not possible. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Legal basis and storage period
The legal basis for the processing and use of your personal data are on the one hand the fulfilment of the contract, legal obligations, predominant legitimate interests and on the other hand your consent. Failure to provide the data can have various consequences. We process your personal data - insofar as necessary for the respective purpose - for the duration of the entire business relationship and beyond that in accordance with the statutory storage and documentation obligations and until the expiry of open warranty or other relevant legal periods.
Information about your PC
Whenever you access our online offer, we collect the following information about your PC, irrespective of your registration: the IP address, the browser request and the time of this request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred in the context of this request are recorded. We also collect product and version information about the browser and operating system used. We also record from which website the access to the online offer was made. The IP address is only stored for the time of use of the online offer and is then deleted or made anonymous by shortening it. The remaining data is stored for a limited period of time. We use this data for the operation of the online offer, in particular to determine and eliminate errors, to determine the capacity utilisation of the online offer and to make adjustments or improvements.
Use of cookies
Cookies are used for our online offer. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your PC and which store certain settings and data for the exchange with our online offer via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie file was sent as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identification character. Cookies enable us to recognise your PC and make any presettings immediately available. Cookies help us to improve our online offer as well as to be able to offer you a better and even more personalised service. The cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to inform you as soon as cookies are sent. Please note that if you reject the storage of cookies, you may only be able to use our online services to a limited extent or not at all.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for statistical evaluations. Google Analytics is a web analysis service from Google. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your PC, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this happens. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google for the future by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
Further information can be found at: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html
We would like to point out that Google Analytics only works with anonymised IP addresses on our website.
Google AdWords
We use the online advertising programme "Google AdWords" and, within the framework of Google AdWords, conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google. A cookie is set if you have reached our website via a Google advertisement. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain parts of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you have clicked on an advertisement and been redirected to our site. Each AdWords customer is given a different cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers will know the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. It is therefore not possible to establish a link between your personal data and your usage data. If you wish to disable cookies for conversion tracking, you can set your browser to block cookies from the following domain: "googleadservices.com".
Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on the use of the map functions by visitors. You can find more detailed information about data processing by Google in the Google data protection information. There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection centre. You can find detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products here.
Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)
In order to display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing manner across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts ( www.google.com/webfonts/ ) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a default font. Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes - that operators of such libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing feature of Google Inc. to deliver interest-based advertisements to website visitors within the Google advertising network. A so-called "cookie" is stored in the website visitor's browser, which makes it possible to recognise the visitor when he or she calls up websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages the visitor may be presented with advertisements relating to content that the visitor has previously viewed on websites that use Google's remarketing function. According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. If you still do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can deactivate it by changing the relevant settings at www.google.com/settings/ads
to be made. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Advertising Network Initiative by following the instructions at www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method
Our website uses the "Scalable Central Measurement Method" (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH ( www.infonline.de ) to determine statistical parameters for the use of our offers. Anonymous measured values are collected in the process. To recognise computer systems, the SZM range measurement alternatively uses either a cookie with the identification "ioam.de", "ivwbox.de", a LocalStorage object or a signature, which is created from various automatically transmitted information of your browser. IP addresses are only processed in anonymised form. The range measurement was developed in compliance with data protection. The aim of range measurement is to statistically determine the intensity of use and the number of users of a website. At no time are individual users identified. Their identity always remains protected. You will not receive any advertising via the system. For web offers that are members of the Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V. (IVW - www.ivw.eu ) or participating in the study "internet facts" of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e.V. (AGOF - www.agof.de ), the usage statistics are updated monthly by AGOF and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyse e.V. (ag.ma - www.agma-mmc.de ), as well as the IVW and can be viewed at www.agof.dem, www.agma-mmc.de and www.ivw.eu. In addition to the publication of measurement data, IVW regularly reviews the SZM procedure with regard to its use in compliance with regulations and data protection. Further information on the SZM procedure can be found on the website of INFOnline GmbH ( www.infonline.de ), which operates the SZM procedure, the data protection website of AGOF ( www.agof.de/datenschutz ) and the data protection website of IVW ( www.ivw.eu ). You can object to data processing by the SZM by clicking on the following links: optout.ioam.de and optout.ivwbox.de .
Analysis by WiredMinds
Our website uses the pixel-code technology of WiredMinds AG ( www.wiredminds.de ) to analyse visitor behaviour. This involves collecting, processing and storing data from which user profiles are created under a pseudonym. Wherever possible and sensible, these user profiles are made completely anonymous. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the visitor's Internet browser and serve to recognise the Internet browser. The collected data, which may also contain personal data, is transmitted to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information left behind by visits to the websites to create anonymous user profiles. The data thus obtained will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website without the separately granted consent of the person concerned and will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. Insofar as IP addresses are recorded, they are immediately made anonymous by deleting the last number block. You can object to the collection, processing and storage of data at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the following link: Exclude from website tracking
Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is established to servers of Youtube. This tells Youtube which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by first logging out of your Youtube account. If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour. If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to expect such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser. Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the provider's privacy policy at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Social media channels
Our online offering includes links to the social networks Facebook, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest, the career network Xing, the video portal YouTube and the short news service Twitter. You can recognise the links by the respective logos of the providers. Clicking on the links opens the corresponding social media pages, to which this data protection declaration does not apply. Please refer to the respective data protection declarations of the individual providers for details of the provisions applicable there. You can find these under:
Social plugins
Social plugins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognise the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo. These plugins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may be used by the latter. We prevent the unconscious and unintentional collection and transmission of data to the service provider by a 2-click solution. In order to activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only when the plugin is activated is the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider triggered. We ourselves do not collect any personal data via the social plugins or their use. We have no influence on what data an activated plugin collects and how this data is used by the service provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services will be established and at least the IP address and device-related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service provider will attempt to store cookies on the computer used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor to a particular page.
